About Matt and Maddie

Upon joining up (finally) to the blog site, I swiftly realised that the ‘About Maddie and Matt’ section was bare. The blank page shocked me  - are we so dull that there is nothing to be said?! When feeling generous, I would call myself ‘fairly’ interesting, while Matt is off the Richter scale with his chemical experiments, addiction to all things swiss and adoration for punctual public transport.  So, basically, we deserve a wee blurb.

MATT: Loves FAA, Harry McLaren, Sam Abrahams (plus other members) and Tanzania. Likes blowing things up and growing things in those little trays  - you know the ones, you had ‘em in school – yes, Matt is a SCIENTIST. That’s about as far as my knowledge takes me. I never suited a white lab coat. Excellent with the internet and technology in general, plus a mean machine when behind a chunky camera, Matt is a force to be reckoned with. Not to mention his incredible skill with a first aid kit. It has been said that Matt can recreate a famous Picasso piece with a single bandage in a matter of seconds.... In all seriousness, knows his first aid back to front. If you ever have a problem, you can guarantee that MATT’LL FIX IT...................

In terms of appearance: very tall. Extremely impressive facial hair. Twinkly eyes.

MADDIE: Loves FAA, Harry McLaren, Sam Abrahams (plus other members) and Tanzania. Likes to annoy flatmates by playing a slightly-out-of-tune accordion at inappropriate volume. Excitable disposition,  takes lots of photos while not really understanding complex camera (have had around 4 successful shots in the history of my career) and firm believer in the horizontal philosophy (extreme laid-backness). These days spends most of her time subjecting the poor folk of the Mediterranean to mediocre, at best, Spanish babble. Despite all the above, VERY RESPONSIBLE CARING WONDERFUL TEAM LEADER..........

In terms of appearance: has long brown hair and a nose. Aspires and fails to perfect ‘vintage/hippy chic’.

N.B Please don’t let my idiotic ramblings frighten you. Team, you are in safe hands. AND our names begin with the same letter. It's alliteration central!
